Create another workspace

Workspaces let you organize your translations, manage members, and control settings for your team. You can create a new workspace at any time.

All user roles are able to create new workspaces, but your company might have removed this right for users with their email domain.

How to create a new workspace

To create an additional workspace, open the workspace switcher in the top-left corner of Lia Translate. At the bottom of the list, select Create a workspace.

You’ll be taken to the workspace creation dialog, where you provide:

  • Name – Choose a name for your workspace. You can update it later at any time.

  • URL – This is your permanent workspace link. It uniquely identifies your workspace in Lia Translate and cannot be changed once created.

Confirm your entries to complete setup. When you create the workspace, you automatically become its workspace owner.

When to create multiple workspaces

You may want to create extra workspaces if you need:

  • Separate environments for different teams

  • Dedicated spaces with separate plans and billing addresses

  • Different access rules

Each workspace operates independently, with its own members, settings, and billing.

A single Lia Translate user can be member of any number of workspaces and have a different role in each.

Move between workspaces

All your workspaces appear in the workspace switcher, allowing you to move easily between the environments you belong to. Assigning clear workspace names and logos helps you stay oriented and navigate without confusion.
