Activate or deactivate context
Activate or deactivate a context
Once you have created a context, you can decide when it should apply to a translation. You can activate a context, deactivate it, or combine several at once.
When you are in a translation, select Add context to open the right-side context drawer. This drawer shows all context you can use—your own and any that have been shared with your workspace.
Inside the drawer, you can:
browse the list of available context
search context by name
view context details, and even manage context (if you are the context creator or have the appropriate role)
activate or deactivate context using the toggle next to each item
The three-dot menu
Each context in the drawer has a three-dot menu offering actions based on your permissions:
View details — available for contexts you may view but not edit
Edit — available for context you created, or if you are an admin/owner
Delete — available for context you created, or if you are an admin/owner
For context created by others, you can only view details unless you have the appropriate workspace role.
See Manage and share context for more details.
