Tone adaptation

Lia can adapt the tone of voice of your translation in line with your intent. Use the Match Source Tone control in the top-right corner of the translation view to select how Lia should render the target text.

You can choose between:

• Match Source Tone – Detects and mirrors the tone of your source text

• Formal Tone – Translates the text in a more formal, polished style

• Informal Tone – Translates the text in a more casual, natural style

Note that for file translation, you need to select the tone before clicking Translate.
